Our Vision, Values, Aims and Mission
School Vision and Mission
Central to the philosophy of this school is the recognition of every child as an individual who should be provided with regular opportunities to experience success.
Our shared values are: kindness, respect, integrity, learning, inclusivity, happiness and a commitment to achieve success.
A Vision Statement describes the future aspirational goal for the school.
Our Vision Statement is: Inspiring every child to grow, learn and thrive – together.
At Cavehill Primary School, we are committed to creating a happy, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child is valued as an individual. Through our shared values, high expectations, strong partnerships, and a love of learning, we empower our pupils to grow in confidence, curiosity, and compassion – equipping them to thrive in a changing world and contribute positively to society.
The ultimate goal of the school is to help each child achieve his/her true potential in terms of intellectual, personal, social, spiritual/moral, emotional and physical development. Focussing on the following objectives will enable us to work towards achieving this goal:
• Partnership – Foster strong collaboration between pupils, parents, staff, and the wider community.
• Curriculum – Deliver a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
• Global Citizenship – Encourage children to become responsible, resilient, and confident individuals who contribute to society.
• Inclusion – Recognise and support the diverse abilities and needs of every child.
• Celebrating Success – Promote a culture where all forms of achievement are valued and celebrated.
• Environment – Provide a safe, stimulating, imaginative and happy learning environment where high standards are expected and supported to allow our children to achieve success.
A Mission Statement outlines our core purpose, objectives and how we will meet our objectives.
Our Mission Statement: Dream Big, Achieve Together
Our Mission Statement reminds us that we are to have high expectations to learn and achieve our full potential in all that we do – as an educational establishment, as a school community and as individuals. To do this, we will work together to support, encourage and assist one another. Each person is an individual and success will look different from one person to the next. With high aspirations and expectations, we are working towards achieving our best, our full potential; we are therefore on a journey and will continually strive to improve and refine what we do to ensure that we give of our best to achieve as highly as we can.
